Before we begin to understand how the median date was calculated, let us first understand what median means.
Put simply, Median is the “middle value” of the list, which needs to be sorted if values are numerical.
As we are calculating the “middle value” of the year and the days are not numbers per se, we do not need to sort the days.
So, we just need to find a middle value for the 365 days in 2022, and that middle value is 183. 182 days precede the middle value and 182 days the middle value.
So what is the 183rd day of 2022?
It is 2nd July 2022.
